Construction Cake

I think this is one of my favorite cakes to date. The cake was designed around the birthday boy's party invitation, which featured a "wood" background and they yellow and black caution tape and construction vehicles you see on the cake. Happy birthday Reid!

Steampunk Wedding Cake

This is a steampunk themed wedding cake that was designed around the topper that the bride provided. The cake is lemon, with raspberry filling and white chocolate ganache.

Cinderella!

I made this cake for a sweet girl's 6th birthday. The cake was made to mimic the design of Cinderella's ball gown, as the theme of the party was centered around the dress, and the birthday girl wore a Cinderella dress to the party. The "clock striking midnight" cookies also went along with the party theme. The client was thrilled with the cake and cookies!

Cowabunga Dude!

This is my new favorite cake. I was so excited about the theme when I received this order, and knew immediately what I would do. The bottom tier is vanilla cake, and the top is chocolate. The cake is covered in homemade marshmallow fondant, and the accents and characters are also fondant. The birthday boy loved it! Happy birthday Brody!

 

 

Lego Mania!

I have had several Lego themed orders lately. I don't know why they all hit at once, and why I had never done them before, but I loved how everything turned out! The cookies and cupcakes were for a kid's party, and the cake was actually a groom's cake for a wedding. Loved the contrast of the fun Lego cake with the elegant bride's cake.
