A Sock Monkey First Birthday Party

This was one of my orders for this weekend...a plethora or sock monkey themed goodies. The tiered cake is chocolate with chocolate ganache, chocolate buttercream, and homemade marshmallow fondant. The smash cake is chocolate with buttercream, and the cupcakes are vanilla bean with sugar cookie toppers. Happy birthday Hudson!

 

Star of the Week Cupcakes

My youngest son was star of the week at school this week, so I sent some special star of the week cupcakes to his class to celebrate!

Austin Fairy Godmother Desserts

Austin Fairy Godmother is a fantastic organization that provides formal dresses for special events for young girls, without the burden of expense. They have shopping parties, diva days, and primping parties to help these young ladies get ready for their event in style! I am so happy to be able to contribute to this fantastic organization. It's really a great cause. These cookies and cupcakes were for the prom shopping party for the Austin School for the Deaf. I Mustache You a Question...

These cupcakes with mustache cookie toppers were for a Boy Scouts event where the guest of honor is known for his mustache. I've been eyeing some mustache cookie cutters for a while, and this order gave me an excuse to buy them. The cutters are for regular sized cookies, so the toppers are larger than a typical cupcake topper, but I love the effect of the large mustache over the smaller cupcake. Everyone at the event seemed to love them!

 

Toffee Crunch Cupcakes

Chocolate toffee crunch cupcakes made for a birthday surprise tomorrow...a rich, chocolate cupcake with a ring of chocolate ganache and toffee bits, topped with caramel swiss meringue buttercream and a caramel drizzle. I sent my husband a picture of these cupcakes in progress today, and he said a guy he works with tried to lick his phone. That's the kind of reaction I like! LOL!
